Whilst we liaise with parents on a regular basis, we also like to invite you to visit our school three times a year so that your children can share their learning with you.

These are our Lumbertubs Primary School ‘Termly Learning Conferences’ instead of the traditional parent’s consultation.

Termly Learning Conferences, or ‘TLCs’, are a three-way conversation about the progress and learning of your child. They are a fantastic opportunity to find out about your child’s learning from both your child and their teachers.

Parent view
Once your TLC has started, your child will show you a piece of English and Maths work that they have chosen to talk about with you.
They will talk to you about their successes as well as their next steps in their learning. The class teacher will support them with this conversation as well as offering advice and support on ways they will be helping your child towards their targets in school and ways you can help at home.

There is an expectation that a parent will attend and if you are not able to come you will be expected to make an alternative appointment as soon as possible. Please talk to your child’s teacher.
