Here at Lumbertubs the wearing of school uniform is important to us. It is economical, gives the children a sense of belonging and helps them to take pride in their appearance. Please ensure that your child is wearing the correct clothing every day.

A uniform swap shop is held every month so that parents can swap any uniform that children have grown out of for a bigger size. The uniform to be swapped must be in good condition. Keep an eye out in our weekly newsletters for the next one.

See the links below on uniform requirements at Lumbertubs through the Uniform Policy.

The wearing of school uniform is important to us at Lumbertubs. It is economical, gives children the feeling of belonging to a school and helps them to take pride in their appearance. Below is the current school uniform:-

• White Polo Shirt available with school logo at https://www.pburniform.co.uk/lumbertubs

• Plain black trouser/shorts

• Black pinafore dress/skirt

• Summer – red and white gingham dresses

• Plain black sensible shoes/boots in the winter

• Lumbertubs book bag available to purchase at school office

Please ensure that your child wears the above uniform, named, to school every day excluding PE days. PE days are listed below.

All above items are available at any large chain store or supermarket.

At Lumbertubs all children from Reception to Year 6 are required to come into school on their P.E. days in their full P.E. kit.

• Plain white t-shirt

• Plain black shorts/tracksuit bottoms

• Plimsolls/plain trainers

• Red school jumper/cardigan

Please label ALL items of clothing with your child's name. If clothing does become lost it is so much easier to locate it if it is named. Lost property can now be found near the office, if your child has lost something please look in there as soon as possible.

The only jewellery that can be worn in school are studs in the ears and a watch. NO jewellery to be worn during P.E lessons. If your child cannot remove their earrings before PE they will not be able to participate in the lesson (we will ask children to remove other jewellery and the school cannot take responsibility for removed items).
