As you will have seen from all of the parent mail which has been sent out, our online remote learning has moved to Microsoft Teams. From Monday 18th January, all work will be posted on Microsoft Teams whereby children can access teaching videos, find their work for the day and even hand in their work virtually.

Here at Lumbertubs we are proud to celebrate all religions and non religions across all year groups.
Our aim is to Explore, Engage and Reflect in our RE lessons. Each child learns how to Explore: Hinduism 🕉, Sikhism🔱, Islam☪️, Jewish✡️, Buddhism☸️, Humanism👤, as well as Christianity ✝️. Making the RE lessons exciting, cross - curriculum, colourful, hands on and interesting for all will ensure every child is Engaged, while Reflecting on themselves, other religions or non religions and with the wider community.

From Monday 18th January 2021 - home learning will be moving to Mircosoft teams - which you should all have your logins and passwords for by now. RE will be set for you each week on Mondays and you have until Fridays to complete and return for me to look at. Jewish festival of Passover ✡️✡️ ( 27.3.21- 4.4.21)
In Judaism✡️ (Jewish), Moses was a very very important man, as he was in the Christian Bible ✝️too - however Jews celebrate him a lot more - At this time of year Jews celebrate a festival🎉 called Feast of Passover or Pesach in Hebrew (Jewish ✡️language).
It is said that the idea that "God passed over " (Pesach) the houses of the Jews during the 10th plague on the Egyptians, the slaying of the 1st born child. This festival🎊 lasts for 7 days and starts on Good Friday. The plates above are the Passover meal Jews will be having to celebrate 🎉as well as praying🙏
Passover ✡️and Easter ✝️are tried together because its the time when Jesus holds his last supper and Jews believe the meal was the Passover meal.🍞🍷

In Hinduism 🕉they have 33,000+ different Deities (gods). They all have their own special powers, abilities, stories and Hindus can chose anyone they want to and change them at any time in their lives.
The Monkey 🦧King is the most famous of the deities as it can fly, rules over the monkey army, protector of Rama and Sita, strong and can control the weather🌦❄️💨

Sikhism🔱 celebrating 🥳the 5K'S - These are the 5 main important Sikh artefacts: Kesh -uncut hair, Kangha - small wooden comb, Kara - an sliver bracelet, Kachera - undergarements, Kirpan - an iron dagger to defend only.
In 1699 Anandpur Sahib - the 10th Guru - formed warriors👳🏾👳🏽♀️👳🏼♂️👳🏼♂️👳🏽♀️ - Khalsa -5 Sikh men (PANJPIARE - means 5 beloved ones) came forward to protect the Sikh religion🔱 - and they were rewarded and took Amrit (sugared water) and get to keep the 5K'S for themselves. Anyone wearing these special 5K’s this means you belong to the Khalsa.
