At the end of the whole holy month - the celebration🎊 of Eid happens - huge party 🎉to see everyone and celebrate with food 🧁🍰🍪🍩, drink🥤🧃,being together. The true meaning of Easter for Christians ✝️✝️ ( 16.2.2020-31.5.2020)

This is what Christian's believe happened and how they celebrate at Easter time:
Shrove Tuesday – pancake day, use up all ingredients 🥞
Ash Wednesday – ⛪️ church services ash on head, marks beginning of Lent - 40 days - Jesus in the dessert 🏝🌞being tempted to turn on God - giving something up
Palm Sunday- Jesus out of dessert – welcome Jesus back waving palm leaves 🌴
Last supper – Maundy Thursday - Jesus & friends/ disciples , Jesus washes their feet 💦picks out Judas, 🍞bread – his body, 🍷wine – his blood – Jesus says goodbye 👋
Arrest of JESUS - Jesus is caught ⛓
Jesus was crucified – Good Friday - Jesus was nailed to the cross ✝️and died.
Easter Saturday - His friends put him in a tomb and covered it with a large rock. 🌑
Jesus rose from the dead – Easter Sunday – Jesus rose from the dead! He had come back to visit his friends. He told them to teach others about God’s love. “Tell the people to believe in me, even if they can’t see me.”
Ascension – ⬆️ And then Jesus rises up to Heaven to live with his Father.
Pentecost – ⬇️🌍 holy spirit sent down in Jesus place on Earth – Like an invisible friend, in different forms – doves 🕊🕊🕊🕊

Today, Christians go to ⛪️Church to pray 🙏and because England 🇬🇧 Is a Christian ✝️country we all celebrate 🎊and have time off at Easter as well as eating Chocolate eggs, hot cross buns, egg hunts and sending Easter cards etc. New beginnings ✝️✝️
