Welcome to Willow Class!

Welcome to the page for Willow Class! Keep checking back for helpful links to our newsletters, knowledge organisers, class stories, and maths songs!

Don't forget PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday; please come to school on these days dressed in your PE kit.

Remember to bring in your reading books and reading records each day.

Books are changed every Friday and try to read 5 times in the week so you can be an Extreme Reader!

Join us on a Friday morning 8:50-9:10 to share stories together in the classroom.

Homework is set every Friday and must be in by the following Thursday. It will be a short Maths or English activity going over what we have been learning in class. There will also be 5 spellings to take home. Have a go at spelling and reading them out loud.

Snack money is £1 per week and can be paid to Miss Mills or Mrs Foster.

Below are some helpful links to songs or stories that we have been using in class.

We use them to practice many different skills including counting and to help remember letter names and sounds.

Home Learning

During the school closure, in addition to the work pack that has been sent home, you can select activities to complete from the links below.

There are Maths, English and Phonics activities as well as some Topic and ideas for ways to Stay Active.

These can be printed or completed in the workbooks that have been sent home.

We have also sent home Purple Mash logins so you can access these activities from home.

Don't forget to carry on reading at home too! We have sent out extra reading books and remember to record the books you read from home as well.

We recommend that you do 1 Maths and 1 English activity a day.

Remember to draw, read, paint, bake, sing songs or learn a new skill!

Don't forget you can send me pictures or just keep in touch using the email address
